No! We will provide field hockey sticks for use during the clinic. If a player does have their own field hockey stick, please feel free to bring it!
While it's not required, we do recommend parents stay during the clinic. Sessions are only one hour long and are often led by a single coach. If a player needs to use the restroom or experiences an injury, having a parent or guardian present is helpful. It's also a great opportunity for parents to learn the game!
If someone other than the drop-off adult will be picking up the player, the coach will need to see a valid ID before releasing the child. This policy is in place is for the safety of all participants.
Clinics will be held rain or shine. However, in the event of severe weather (such as lightning), the clinic will be canceled for safety reasons. You will be notified at least one hour prior to the scheduled start time if cancellation is necessary.
Make-up sessions will be scheduled at the discretion of Foundations Sports Clinics, with an attempt to hold them on the first Saturday following the originally scheduled end date. Final timing will depend on field and coach availability.
Please note: Refunds or discounts will not be given if your child is unable to attend the make-up session.
If a child is injured during play, basic first aid will be provided and parent will be notified. If an injury is deemed as emergent and parent is unable to be contacted, EMS may be called.
